MMF Canada’s Advocacy Committee is always working on your behalf ensuring that the needs of artists and managers are voiced. There has been a lot of work recently petitioning the Federal Government, reminding them of the vital position managers play in the careers of artists and creatives.
Looking ahead we’ll be focusing on some of the following initiatives for our members: Copyright Act Reform, Diversity and Inclusion, Provincial Government Support, COVID Programs & Outreach.

The Canadian Association of Broadcasters is asking the CRTC for an exemption from paying into the Canadian Content Development fund for the 2019/2020 broadcast year due financial hardships from to the COVID-19 pandemic.
