The Government of Canada Confirms Investment of $32 Million in the Canada Music Fund
Yesterday, the Honourable Pascale St-Onge, Minister of Canadian Heritage announced that the Canadian government will be boosting investment in the Canada Music Fund by $32 million. This support will go a long way in allowing Canadian creators and music businesses to continue to thrive.
MMF Canada applauds the initiative of CIMA for coordinating an open letter with signees including MMF Canada and several other music organizations. As well as organizing a campaign page that made it easier for community members to write to their local Liberal MP and Canada’s Ministers of Heritage and Finance.
