Recap: MMF Canada at the Junos

 

MMF Canada’s Executive Director Amie Therrien and Outreach Director attended the JUNO Awards in Hamilton to celebrate with members and connect with industry. This included the following activities:

  • MMF Canada Mentorship Program - Music Manager mentors and mentees were paired for support, coaching and guidance. They participated in 2 meetings either before, during, or after the JUNOS, online or in-person.

  • MMF Connect at the JUNOS presented by Danyliw & Mann. The panel and networking event at Mill’s Hardware, co-hosted by MMF Canada and Gems Management. Panelists Carlos Pineda, Craig Mannix and Alison Perdue discussed navigating management in the modern music landscape and the opportunities and challenges faced by managers. After the panel, music managers, self-managed artists and industry connected over food provided by sponsor Mary Browns Chicken.

  • Attending the JUNO Awards Broadcast and other evening networking events including the CIMA After Party.
