2025 Germany Export Mission Recap
SUMMARY
The MMF Canada team brought sixteen music managers and self-managed artists on our Germany Export Mission to make new connections and build their businesses abroad. They participated in B2B and networking events in Berlin before heading to Hamburg to take part in Reeperbahn Festival, meeting industry professionals from Germany and beyond. Berlin Activities
German-Canadian business networking event at Embassy of Canada to Germany. Joining Berlin-based industry for a series of roundtable meetings followed by a networking event with food and drinks.
Berlin Experience, organized by Reeperbahn: a series of presentations and office visits to connect with the Berlin music industry.
Festival train to Hamburg. Live concerts, refreshments and networking.
Hamburg Activities
B2B speed meetings between export mission delegates and industry in Hamburg.
Delegates had the option to attend panels, events, networking parties, and showcases at Reeperbahn Festival.
Canada House showcases which featured some of MMF Canada’s export mission delegates.
Music Manager’s Meet-Up co-presented by EMMA (European Music Managers Alliance), MMF Canada, and AAM Australia (Association of Artist Managers Australia).
Canadian sync breakfast and reception. In partnership with STEAM Music Group, we brought four international music supervisors to hear songs submitted by Canadians. The music supervisors included Justine von Winterfeldt (Head of Music Supervision at Format Entertainment), Regina Reis (Music Supervisor at UFA Fiction GmbH), Everton Lewis, Jr (Music Supervisor at Wracket Music / GMSC) and Sophie Urquhart (Music Supervisor at Tin Drum Music).
