2023 Germany Export Mission & Reeperbahn
SUMMARY
Our first Germany Export Mission consisted of a series of events and receptions in Berlin and Hamburg, alongside the Reeperbahn conference and showcase festival held on September 20 - 23, 2023. We brought 15 Canadian artist managers and self-managed artists together with Germany industry professionals for curated B2B meetings, networking, and authentic connections. Our Programming Director, Andrea Caswell and Executive Director, Amie Therrien attended the conference along with the delegates, catching showcases of musicians from around the world, and connecting with international delegates from across the music industry.
MMF Canada members had an opportunity to mix and mingle at the conference’s many mixers and networking receptions, forging new relationships and avenues for their artists including:
International Industry Mixer to kick off the 2023 RBF Berlin Experience presented by MMF Canada at FluxBau.
EMMA Connects, a networking reception for music managers brought to you by the European Music Managers Alliance (EMMA), Music Managers Forum (MMF) Canada and the Association of Artist Managers (AAM) Australia.
