SPEAKERS

Mike Lawless is currently the Head of Music, Canada for Amazon Music, based in Toronto. Mike started at Amazon’s Seattle Headquarters in January of 2018, holding roles leading Music Programming and Label Relations for Canada through the CA launch of Amazon Music Unlimited in September of 2018. Prior to his time at Amazon, Mike spent a decade working for Sony Music Canada, most recently as Director of Digital Business Development and Sales. Before he entered the Canadian music industry, Mike followed the logical career path of working in advertising, post-secondary education, and as the piano man aboard a cruise ship in the Caribbean Sea.

Katie Schlosser Vitolins joined Amazon Music in 2017, enthusiastic about the opportunity that lies in the intersection of streaming music, retail, and voice technology. As Principal, Product Marketing at Amazon Music, she is responsible shaping the tools that help artists grow, engage, and monetize their fans on Amazon. In previous roles, Katie spent six years at Spotify overseeing industry relations for North America, digital account management at Universal Music Group, and development at the Boston Symphony Orchestra. Digital by day, analog by night – you’ll find Katie sifting through record bins to expand her collection of 1960-70 African vinyl.
