MMF Canada Community Chat: Industry Advocacy

Please join us for the weekly MMF Canada Community Chat!

This week's discussion will focus on industry advocacy and the work done behind the scenes by organizations such as MMF.

This session will be hosted by Jake Gold (The Management Trust, MMF Board Vice-President) & Helen Britton (Six Shooter, MMF Board Government Relations Officer).

Advocacy work has been especially important during this pandemic to ensure that government funding and strategies take into account the needs of managers and artists. Hear more about what's been happening, how MMF is involved and speaking out on your behalf, and share your needs so we can highlight where the gaps are and work together to close them.

Chats are held every Friday at 1:00 PM ET. Register to secure your spot and to receive the link to access this week’s session.

If you have topics you'd wish to hear discussed or questions to be raised, you'll have the opportunity to include them as part of your registration. We will do our best to include all that gets requested.

SESSION ACCESS

The Chat will take place via Zoom. We STRONGLY RECOMMEND you LOGIN to your Eventbrite account PRIOR TO THE SESSION to ensure you can find the event in your account and can access your Zoom link. You may be asked to download the Zoom software but will also be able to join via your browser, which may give slightly reduced functionality but shouldn't affect your experience much.

If you have any issues accessing the webinar, please email info@mmfcanada.ca.
