Women In Music Canada Honours Nomination: Organization of the Year

We're beyond thrilled to be nominated for the Women In Music Canada Honours Organization of the Year! This recognition means so much!

The management sector is too often overlooked, despite its crucial role in the industry. We're proud to support this community of music managers and self-managed artists. Our all-female staff works tirelessly, often behind the scenes, to create opportunities for the management sector to grow, connect, and thrive.

Congratulations to our incredible team for everything they do for the community. Our long-standing Executive Director, Amie Therrien who has led the charge on revitalizing MMF Canada, turning it into the more impactful, inclusive, and community-focused organization it is today. Outreach Director Gabrielle Rubaine who has been pivotal over the past few years in building and strengthening ties with our community. And our Communications Manager Larysa Musick), who has supported us in continuing to spread the word about MMF Canada's initiatives.

Thank you to our staff alumni. Andrea Caswell, who played a crucial role in the last few years helping to make MMF Canada what we are today. Claire Boning for continuing the work. And of course thank you to board members past and present for your role in shaping the organization.

We will continue to uplift music managers and self-managed artists in Canada and do our part to keep building an inclusive, sustainable, and supportive music industry!

Congratulations to all of our peers and community members who also received nominations. Learn more about the Women In Music Canada Honours and read the full list of nominees here.
