Connecting with our community at BreakOut West 2024
Our Outreach Director, Gabrielle Rubaine, joined other industry delegates and artists at the BreakOut West conference in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan in September, 2024. Our programming at the conference included two networking events: Manager’s Meet-Up and MMF Connect: Saskatchewan Edition. In addition, five mentors and mentees got to paired up as part of our manager mentorship program. They met for two 1-1 meetings throughout the conference. Gabrielle also spoke on the Managing The Managers Panel, alongside artist managers Akeem Herbert and Natasha Mandrusiak, and self-managed artist Ginalina.
ABOUT BREAKOUT WEST
Breakout West features an immersive music industry and artist development conference, and a festival with 50+ artists performing across multiple venues. The festival highlights Western Canadian talent alongside select International and Pan-Canadian artists.
