MMF Canada at Folk Alliance International 2023

We were thrilled to be part of the 2023 Folk Alliance Conference in Kansas City, MO from Feb 1 to 5 - the world’s largest gathering of the folk music industry and community. We were there with over 150 music managers from over nine countries, including over 30 Canadian managers and 200 Canadian artists.

It was wonderful to partner with MMF-US to bring together over 50 international music managers to chat about taking care of business and taking care of ourselves during the peer session for managers, where we got to catch up with our members like Ulysses De Paula (Showzaço Artistic productions), Sarah Porter (Porter Music Management), Teresa Nelson (Traverse Music Management), Tamara Kater (Mavens Music), Tim Des Islets (Noisemaker Management), Laura Merilainen (Merilainen Music Inc.), and Nigel Jenkins (Laughing Heart Music Ltd.)

We also partnered with MMF-US and British Underground for an industry mixer happy hour, creating opportunities to make connections across the industry and across the world.

MMF Canada members and their artists were out in full force networking, showcasing, and representing.
