MMF Canada @ M for Montreal & Mundial 2023
Bringing our community together during M for Montreal and Mundial 2023 in Montreal
Our Executive Director, Amie Therrien, joined other industry delegates and artists at the M for Montreal and Mundial conferences in Montreal in November and hosted some events to bring our community together. This included our first Music Manager Mentorship Program in partnership with M for Montreal. Five emerging managers were paired with established managers and took part in group and one-on-one meetings before, during, and after the conference.
We also hosted sessions for both M for Montreal and Mundial which gave managers space to connect and chat with each other - over food of course! Over 50 managers came together to share their knowledge and experience with each other. And we brought back the popular MMF Connect: Montreal, an industry networking event that's part of a year-round series with events in person across the country and online.
It was also a great opportunity to build bridges with our international partners including members of MMF Czech Republic.
