Special Online Event: Meet the Music Supervisors

MMF Canada and the Guild of Music Supervisors, Canada present a special online event - Meet the Music Supervisors

Every manager and artist dreams of securing that big, juicy sync deal. But how do we get it done? What are some of the key things to research when doing outreach to music supervisors? How can we effectively present our artists’ work, and what are the steps on the backend that artist teams must manage in order to facilitate good dealings with music supervisors? What do supervisors look for when it comes to communication style and organization, let alone the most important piece - the music?

MMF Canada and the Guild of Music Supervisors (Canada) are seeking to bridge the knowledge gap and create connections. This special 2.5 hr event will include:

Vic worked on film and television projects at Last Gang and Rock Steady for several years before they (and she) got sold to eOne and then to Blackstone and rebranded as MNRK Music Group (pronounced Monarch), where she continues to co-supervise film and television seen and heard on Amazon, Apple TV+, Audience, CBC, FOX, Hulu, Netflix, Pop and Youtube. She finds time to make guest speaker appearances at conferences including M for Montreal (2018), the Canadian Song Conference for Music P.E.I. (2019, 2020) and MusicNL (2021), and when she's not working, Vic's busy chasing after her toddler and enjoys family time at the cottage and true crime podcasts [IMDb
