Yasmin de Soiza is an artist and an advocate for artists. By design, her life has centered around the appreciation of expression and immersive experiences in all forms. It’s what ignites her; encouraging all the senses to take in inspiration, beauty and emotion through different modalities. She has dedicated her life to empowering other artists and creators while also fostering her own artistry.
Whether she is layering strings against vocals, designing an impactful creative experience for musicians, or facilitating a conversation among artists, she is known for curating creative experiences with impactful outcomes. What drives her throughout is a simple belief: Beautiful music and thoughtful expression bring people together.
Yasmin is an innovative and inventive professional with extensive experience in music, education and new media. She currently leads Artist & Industry Relations outreach for The Recording Academy, best known as the GRAMMY Awards. Previously, her career spanned creative strategy, talent relations, brand partnerships, original content creation and event production for prestigious industry institutions including Carnegie Hall and SESAC (which currently licenses the public performances of more than 1 million songs on behalf of its 30,000 songwriters, composers and music publishers).
Yasmin can also be seen performing violin at many notable East and West Coast venues alongside artists on national television such as The Tonight Show and Good Morning America.
