Mischa Oak delivers engaging and positive talks on how to create safe, welcoming and empowering working relationships with 2SLGBTQIA+ people, empowering you with understanding and strategies to foster Two-Spirit & LGBTQ+ inclusion excellence.
This personal, narrative and evidence-based talk is designed to help audiences make progress - especially those who struggle with misinformation or biases.
All backgrounds and comfort levels will feel welcome and empowered, improvising awareness of LGBTQ+ issues and providing insight into working with and supporting gender and sexual orientation diversity.

SPEAKER/FACILITATOR:
Mischa Oak (he/him)- Founder, LGBTQ Corporate Training
Mischa Oak (he/him) is a 2SLGBTQ+ advocate, strategist and collaborator who has dedicated his career to helping others foster diversity and Two-Spirit & LGBTQ+ inclusion excellence. With his company LGBTQ Corporate Training (lgbtqcorporatetraining.com), Mischa advises and provides training for multinational companies, development projects, organizations, First Nations and school districts.
Mischa's latest strategy work involves extending LGBTQ+ inclusion excellence into industry, AI-based tech, and internationally exposed organizations. His advocacy career includes working for same-sex marriage legalization, coordinating Vancouver Pride, and advocating for transgender rights in the BC school system. Mischa Oak is a Loran Scholar and holds an MEd in Social Justice Curriculum, Teaching, and Learning.
