Strengthen industry connections and gain insights into new markets

Ten managers and self-managed artists based in Canada will connect with ten managers and self-managed artists based in the UK to build relationships and exchange info through a series of one-on-one meetings, group discussions, and workshops.
The mission will consist of two online sessions in January 2022.
Wednesday, January 19, 2022 - 10am to 12pm EST || 3pm to 5pm GMT
Thursday, January 20, 2022 - 10am to 12pm EST || 3pm to 5pm GMT
*Applicants must be available to attend both sessions and complete a post-event evaluation survey.
Mission participants will also receive free access to two webinars about the UK market (Jan 5 & 12), an export planning masterclass (Jan 13 & 18), and an online networking event hosted by MMFs in Canada and the UK (Jan 19). Details to come.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
applicant must be an MMF Canada member
applicant must be or must represent an export ready artist planning to expand into the UK market
An export ready artist:
has a recent recording - in the past two years or coming in the next 6 months - that is commercially available in Canada and the UK (physical or digital) *can be self-released
has embarked on at least one tour (3 or more dates - national or international) outside of their hometown
