Join MMF Canada at the Folk Alliance International Conference in New Orleans! It is the world’s largest gathering of the folk music industry and community (crossing a diverse array of genres including Appalachian, Americana, Blues, Bluegrass, Celtic, Cajun, Francophone, Global Roots, Hip-Hop, Indigenous, Latin, Old Time, Singer-Songwriter, Spoken Word, Traditional, and Zydeco).

Attend the second annual business accelerator for managers! This year’s session will be hosted by Holly Lowman (Kathleen Edwards, American Aquarium) and has limited registration to ensure maximum engagement.

MMF Canada has secured free spots for our members. Email info@mmfcanada.ca with a short message describing why you want to attend to be eligible for a free spot.

Please note that you must have a conference pass to attend the accelerator. You can register here or if you are a first time attendee check out the industry scholarships. You may be eligible for a free conference registration.

Be sure to mark this session on your conference schedule. It offers a chance to connect, network, and begin the conference with your colleagues. The session will be hosted by Amie Therrien, MMF Canada Operations Director and Stephen Bond Garvan, MMF-US Board Member.


Managers Meetup - Fri Jan 24, 2020 | 9:00 pm to 10:00 pm | Room 928

We’ll be hosting a meetup for managers and self-managed artists during the conference. Take the opportunity to step away from the hustle and bustle of the conference for a moment to connect with your colleagues in an informal setting. Come and learn from each other's experiences and build relationships that will help you grow. This is a free event but space is limited. Please RSVP early.


B2B Meetings - Sat, Jan 25, 2020 | 11:00am to 12:00pm | Oak Alley (4th Floor)

Our Operations Director, Amie Therrien, will be taking part in the B2B meetings alongside a number of other industry folks. Sign up with Amie for a 10 minute meeting to learn more about Music Managers Forum Canada and to ask your questions about management and career growth.
